“Our focus is on collecting testimonials, donations and the names of individuals who are interested in getting more involved in the campaign,” shared Carol Russell, who has volunteered to lead Perrysburg4Transit. “Renewing this levy is essential to maintaining transportation independence for individuals in our community.”
Without this levy’s renewal, there will be no public transportation in Perrysburg for seniors or individuals living with disabilities. The 5-year, 0.8 mill levy will continue to cost the owner of a $200,000 home about $4 per month. The levy helps maintain community stability by enabling residents to stay in their homes longer and age with independence and dignity.
“We are asking supporters to please consider helping with this important campaign by making a financial donation,” shared Eric Benington, Treasurer. “The direct voter contact is entirely managed and funded by volunteers, so the more folks who join in early to donate, the better the position we’ll be in to maintain this critical service in our community.”
